ON THE COVER:
To go along with our article “Attack of the Midgets,” we present this photograph of a diver exploring the remains of Japanese midget sub M24 that was located in November 2006 off the northern beaches of Sydney, Australia. The midget was being used for an attack on Sydney Harbor. The sub fired its two torpedoes at USS Chicago but they missed the ship but one hit and sank the ferry HMAS Kuttabul, killing 21 men.
